Washington Avenue (I-10) exit 50) is a commercial corridor in Jackson County that connects I-10 to the City of Ocean Springs and is a direct route to Casino Row in Biloxi. The corridor has a number of fast food chains, hotels and other chains such as Walmart, Dollar General and Family Dollar as well as local and regional pharmacies and gas stations. There are several banks and small auto dealerships and other commercial entities that serve the surrounding residential developments. In addition to the existing businesses there are still good size tracts of undeveloped land available. With an ADT (Average Daily Traffic) of 37,000 this corridor is uniquely positioned for continued development.
