This year's Jackson County tax notices will have a new look! Beginning 2024, the Tax Collector's office will be mailing a letter size notice for the Real Property, Personal Property and Mobile Homes.
Below is a sample of each notice:
Instructions on Paying Online -
For Real Property, Personal Property or Mobile Homes
- Go to the County website: www.co.jackson.ms.us
- Click the "Pay Taxes" Icon or click here: https://co-jackson-ms-taxpayments.us/#/
- Choose "Click Here to Pay Taxes" for Real Property, Personal Property or Mobile Home.
- Choose "Accept"
- If a box pops up that says "First Time Here?"
- Click " Don't Show this again" or "Close"
- In the Search box you can search by/type in name (last first), address, or parcel number
- Your name/property should appear in the list below
- You have two options from here:
- OPTION 1:Pay the bill
- Click the shopping cart (green button)
- Click "Pay $____" OR add an amount to the "Pay Another Amount" field and click "Pay"
- OPTION 2: View the bill before paying
- Click the "View" icon
- Click "Add to Cart"
- If you have additional parcels choose “Back to search” and repeat the process until you have all your parcels in the cart.
- Choose "Secure Checkout"
- Choose your method of payment by clicking on the icon:
- Credit (convenience fee of 2.95%) Minimum of $2.95
- Debit ( Convenience fee of 1.15%) Minimum of $1.00, or
- E-check **NEW OPTION** (only costs $1.50 no matter the amount of taxes being paid).
- Complete the required fields (varies depending on payment method)
- You will get a payment receipt, and the tax receipt will be mailed to the address we have on record the following day.
