Board of supervisors agenda and minutes

 

The Board of Supervisors meet regularly on the first Monday of the month at 9:00 am in the Board Room of the Jackson County Courthouse. If the Monday is a holiday, the meeting will be held on the following non-holiday day. Currently the Board is meeting the first three Mondays of each month.  Additional meetings must be recessed or scheduled at the end of a board meeting. 

Planning appeals are usually held on the second or third Monday of the month by the Board of Supervisors.

Agendas
The Agendas are prepared the week prior to the Board meeting by the County Administrator's office. To request an item be placed on the agenda contact that office no later than noon on Wednesday before the Board meeting with any required paperwork.  The County Administrator's number is 228.769.3088. 

Minute Summaries
The Minute Summaries of the meetings of the Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, are prepared by the Chancery Clerk and are unofficial.  The summaries are not a part of the official Minutes or the official records of said County. The online summaries do not include attachments. The official Minutes of the Board of Supervisors, as well as attachments, may be reviewed in the office of the Chancery Clerk at 3104 Magnolia Street, Pascagoula, MS, during normal business hours of said office.
