JC Road Dept. announces road closure in Gulf Park Estates
Jackson County’s Road Department is announcing a partial road closure on Beach View Drive in the Gulf Park Estate community starting Monday morning (Feb. 23). The closure will begin immediately following the morning commute and will continue throughout the day as crews install new drainage under the roadway.
The project is near the south end of Beach View Dr. between Simmons Circle and Elm Avenue. Residents can detour around the improvement project using the combination of Simmons Circle, South 7th Street and Elm Avenue.
All drivers are asked to use caution around this construction site. Pay special attention to traffic signs, road workers and heavy equipment. The construction work should be complete by late Monday afternoon, weather permitting.
