Supervisors show some "love" for longtime employees
Even though Valentine’s Day had passed, the Jackson County Board of Supervisors still showed some “love” for 15 of their longest services employees. The Board honored employees from across seven departments who reached their 15th or 20th anniversary with the County in 2008. Supervisors presented each employee with a certificate marking their anniversary at its February 16 meeting.
The two longest service employees honored at the meeting were Barbara Dumas (Grant Coordinator) and Joe Tucker (Tax Collector). Both have serviced Jackson County’s residents for more than 20 years. Altogether, the County employs more than 700 workers throughout its five districts.
