Whether we are hiring an employee or an employee is retiring, the County’s Human Resources (HR) Department is involved. All of the County’s 700 employees have personally met and talked with a HR staff member. But HR is about more than making sure new employees fill out paper.
The HR Department is also responsible for benefit plans, compensation, injury reports, promotions, professional training, safety training, transfers, and terminations. These business activities, along with the administration of employee benefits plans, comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, including those dealing with equal opportunity.
The HR Department also ensures the County work place is free from discrimination, sexual harassment or any other harassment based on orientation, race, national origin, ethnicity, religion, age, disability or veteran status.
More detailed information on available positions will eventually be posted, but until they are, please contact the Human Resource Department for more information on these postions.
