Momacita

Momacita
Hound / Catahoula Leopard Dog mix
Adult Female
Hello! I'm Momacita and hopefully I'm the one you've been looking for. You've probably guessed my name has something to do with babies. Well, you are right. When I was taken to the Shelter, I arrived with 7 little babies. My babies have all been gone for a while and I've been spayed. Here I sit in a loving foster home, just waiting for a family to make me their own. Let me share some more interesting details about myself. I am a black and white female Hound mix, born around January 6, 2013, and I weigh about 45 pounds. My foster mom tells me I am probably a catahoula/border collie/heeler mix. What a great combination! Now, you don't see that one every day -- so I am surely special. Whatever it is that I am, my foster mom says it's definitely a herding breed. I'm good with other dogs, love kids, and I don't mind the cat too awful much. They keep telling me I'm a Good Girl 'cause I listen well and am just an all around good dog. I love rides and do good in a car, walk good on a leash, and go into my crate on command with no coaxing. Oh, did I mention I love to follow the 4-wheeler wherever it goes. I'm spayed, house trained, and up-to-date on my shots. I would do good with any family, but would prefer one that has some activity going on. I'm very calm and great with kids. I like to stay busy -- so being on a farm would be great -- I'm looking for a job! I'm not a barker, don't chew and I don't show any aggression at all. I'm pretty much the real deal of a great dog to adopt in a single package. I hope you're as anxious to meet me as I am to meet you. Please call the Shelter so we can schedule a meeting with my foster mom. I'd love for you to make your home my forever home. Hope to see you soon! Doggie Hugs and Kisses -- Momacita

His caretaker puts it best: "He gets overlooked at the Shelter because he has sooo much pent up energy, but wouldn't you if you were in his position....." Please come meet him and you'll see why he's her Shelter Staff Pick and he'll probably steal your heart like he did hers. He's waiting to meet you and hopes you'll make your home his "furever" home!
